When Judge Berry is not in the courtroom, she is active in the community. She serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Judicial College and is the first Nevadan to hold this position in the college's 39 year history. She is the immediate past president of the Nevada District Judges Association and recently concluded a term of office as Chief Judge of the Second Judicial District Court. Judge Berry created the popular Kids Court/Ask an Inmate educational program for 5th and 6th grade elementary students. She also serves on a number judicial committees and advisory boards.
